Experis is looking for an Industrial Applications & Java Integration Developer (M/F) to support one of its clients, an international player operating in a high-tech industrial environment.

Within an IT team dedicated to production business applications, you will contribute to the maintenance, evolution, and integration of critical solutions used throughout the industrial value chain.

Your responsibilities ##

• Ensure the maintenance of operational conditions and the evolution of applications developed mainly in Java.
• Participate in the design of robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions.
• Integrate applications with the different components of the information system (API, databases, business services, third-party tools).
• Participate in deployment and application operation activities in containerized environments.
• Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and implement long-lasting solutions.
• Collaborate closely with business teams to understand functional needs and propose suitable improvements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices, software quality, and delivery processes.
• Provide occasional support on other technologies present in the application ecosystem.

Your profile ##

• Higher education in computer science or experience deemed equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development.
• Excellent mastery of Java and object-oriented design principles.
• Proven experience in the development and maintenance of enterprise applications.
• Good understanding of application integration challenges and distributed architectures.
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes environments and containerization tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery methods.
• Strong sensitivity to security, code quality, and maintainability issues.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to evolve in a demanding environment requiring autonomy, rigor, and team spirit.

Additional assets ##

• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing context.
• Knowledge of Python, C or .NET.
• Practice of automated testing and associated tools.
• Familiarity with interconnection issues between applications and business systems.
