Testing & Commissioning Engineer Bahntechnik

You are responsible for the commissioning and testing of railway systems on-site and ensure seamless technical documentation.

Tasks

• Create and maintain test procedures and specifications for T&C
• Coordinate, perform and document system introductions and field tests
• Manage and version hardware and software configurations on-site
• Record and analyze incidents and track measures
• Solve technical problems together with engineering and the customer
• Plan electrical and mechanical changes and procure components
• Perform or support field work including track work

Profile

• Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (FH/TU) or comparable technical training
• Several years of practical experience in the industrial or railway sector
• Experience in commissioning, testing and troubleshooting
• Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation
• Experience in requirements management (IBM DNG, PLM or similar)
• Knowledge of railway signaling systems (CBTC or interlocking) is an advantage
• Willingness to travel and work nights, English mandatory, German or French fluent
