Apprentice Computer Science EFZ (Platform Development)
Your mission:
Start your apprenticeship with the basic training year at the BBC in Zürich. From the second year of apprenticeship, you will be personally accompanied and supported by experienced specialist supervisors at Skyguide. During your four-year training, you will gain exciting insights into the IT world of aviation and participate in versatile tasks and projects. You will attend the vocational school in Uster and, with very good academic performance, have the opportunity to complete the Federal Vocational Baccalaureate. In doing so, we promote an environment in which learning, trying things out, and further development are expressly desired. We see mistakes as an important part of the learning process.
Your tasks:
Rectification of malfunctions, solving problems and supporting users
Planning, installation, documentation, configuration and maintenance of networks, servers and other IT systems
Securing the IT infrastructure against hacker attacks and protecting the data
Installation and configuration of software and hardware
Monitoring system performance and ensuring availability
Training users in the use of IT systems
Participation in exciting projects in cooperation with different teams
Who we are looking for:
Secondary school certificate
Motivated, high willingness to learn and enjoyment in cooperation
Interest in technical contexts and computer science, initial IT knowledge is an advantage
Teamwork: You provide quick, honest feedback with the intention of achieving a constructive result or a solution
Curiosity: You show curiosity through sincere interest in your environment, try new approaches and ask thoughtful questions to gain a deeper understanding.
