Our client, an international company based in Genève, is looking for a Senior Accountant (M/F) to strengthen its Finance department.

This opportunity is intended for an experienced, autonomous profile with solid accounting expertise, capable of taking charge of varied activities

Job description ###

Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
Guarantee the reliability of accounting entries and financial data
Perform balance sheet account reconciliations as well as necessary controls
Ensure the monitoring of VAT declarations and current accounting operations
Identify discrepancies and proceed with necessary corrections or reclassifications
Participate in internal and external audits
Ensure the monitoring of fixed assets
Collaborate with the various companies in the group on financial matters
Participate in projects to improve accounting and financial processes
Ensure full accounting responsibility for a group entity

Profile ###

Holder of a Chartered Accountant diploma, a Federal Diploma, or an equivalent qualification
Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar function
Proven experience in general accounting in an industrial, international, or multi-entity environment
Very good knowledge of closing processes and financial control
Excellent analytical skills, rigor, and attention to detail
High level of autonomy and ability to manage demanding deadlines
Proficiency in French and good knowledge of English
Good mastery of standard IT tools and an ERP (knowledge of Proconcept is an asset)
