Lead Systems Engineer ETCS

You will take over the technical leadership of systems and electrical engineering in modernization projects for train protection systems (ETCS). In doing so, you will coordinate technical disciplines and external suppliers throughout the entire project duration.

Tasks

• Technical leadership of systems, electrical engineering, and electrical installation planning in ETCS modernization projects
• Management of technical cooperation with suppliers and external service providers
• Implementation of the customer requirements specification, taking into account all relevant requirements
• Development of integrated system solutions in coordination with software and mechanical engineering
• Analysis of existing systems and derivation of modernization solutions
• Support of the technical implementation from the concept phase to testing and approval

Profile

• Completed technical education at university level (FH/university) in electrical engineering, automation, or systems engineering
• Experience with ETCS or other train protection systems is an advantage
• Experience in systems engineering and in the coordination of technical disciplines or sub-projects
• Business fluent German skills as well as good English skills
