Looking for a new challenge? We can offer you the right workplace. Our customer in the canton of Luzern is looking for a flexible gardener for temporary employment, effective immediately. What do you have to do? As a gardener, you are responsible for the care and maintenance of plants. You either establish plant cultures in open fields or in greenhouses. You maintain the cultures through fertilization, irrigation, and various pest control measures. Using special harvesting machines or by hand, you harvest the mature plants and store or sell them. In order to be able to offer plants throughout the year, vegetable and ornamental plants are often grown in greenhouses. You begin the sowing of seeds as early as during the winter, as well as the cultivation of ornamental flowers in the greenhouse. Additionally, you care for the young plants by regularly loosening the soil, through watering, and by weeding. In addition to the gardening activities, it is also your task to carry out maintenance and repair work on the tools and equipment used, as well as on the irrigation and heating systems of the greenhouse.
