Shape quality - with responsibility and impact

We are looking for a convincing personality who, with professional competence, leadership strength, and a clear understanding of quality, will significantly design and shape this newly founded organization and drive sustainable improvements.

• Overall responsibility for the complete rebuilding and formation of a quality assurance team for the RF area at the location in Herisau
• Leadership and further development of the QA team
• Ensuring and continuous improvement of quality processes and standards
• Analysis of quality deviations and initiation of sustainable measures (KVP)
• Close cooperation with Production, Engineering, Quality Management (QM) as well as Supply Chain
• Contact person for customers regarding quality-relevant issues
• Implementation of assigned internal audits

Your profile ####

• Technical basic training, at HF/FH level, ideally with further training in quality management
• Several years of proven leadership experience with the ability to build, further develop, and motivate organizations and teams
• Experience in the quality assurance of industrial manufacturing processes (e.g., mechanics/machining, cables, assembly, electroplating)
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Leadership experience as well as strong communication skills
• High quality and detail awareness as well as result orientation
• Demonstrable experience in the introduction and application of modern quality methods in the environment of Smart Factory, data-driven manufacturing, Advanced Analytics
• Practical experience in the use of analytics or machine learning applications for error prevention, quality improvement, or process optimization in the sense of QA 4.0
• Proactive attitude as well as readiness for change and improvement
• Sound knowledge of relevant standards (EN 9100, ISO 9001, ISO 14001)
• Confident use of common quality methods and Core Tools (8D, FMEA, MSA, SPC, Ishikawa, 5-Why)
• Experience in handling CAQ, SAP, and MS Office systems
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form
