Pot washer / Kitchen assistant 20-30%

Ideally for the beginning of October 2026 (but also with the possibility of starting in September 2026 or by November 1st, 2026 at the latest), we are looking for a pot washer/kitchen assistant for our restaurant A propos d’ailes in Barberêche in the canton of Fribourg to do the dishes and contribute to the success of our establishment. This job is a part-time position representing approximately 20% annualized (oscillating between 10 and 30%) because we operate with an events calendar. (upon request the schedule for October 2026 to March 2027 can be sent to you) Possibility after one year to increase work percentage and to evolve in tasks according to the company's needs and based on your skills. Job description: • dishes/dishwashing: plates, dishes, pots, service ware, glasses, coffee/tea cups, etc. • storing dishes in the appropriate places • occasional help with plating dishes during service • cleaning the dishwasher, the hood and the various kitchen appliances • cleaning the floors at the end of service (vacuum/broom, scrubbing) • folding service linen Required qualities: - be reliable, serious and punctual - liking to do one's work with care and appreciating solidarity and teamwork - having energy and the desire to contribute to the smooth running of our restaurant - having a good mindset, positive and rather joyful - having experience in restaurant dishwashing or in households (or a great motivation to learn) Our working environment is ideal for a person wanting to supplement their hours, re-enter active life or change professional orientation with the motivation to learn. We require a good level of spoken French to allow for understanding tasks and performing them precisely. A car is indispensable (because Barberêche has no public transport). You benefit from a free parking space in front of the restaurant. We will give preference to a person living in the region, approximately 25 minutes maximum from our establishment. The working hours and days are usually Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 19h30 to 23h30 and sometimes Sundays from 12h to 16h.
