Exciting tasks await:

• You lead interdisciplinary, interdepartmental projects and prepare reports and presentations for the State Chancellor and the Government Council.
• You develop the cantonal long-term planning (development mission statement of the Government Council) and support its implementation in cooperation with the departments.
• You review strategic business of the departments in the co-reporting procedure.
• You prepare statements on selected parliamentary initiatives of the Grand Council and on consultations of the Confederation.
• In cooperation with the departments, you comment on the maintenance or archiving of unfinished parliamentary initiatives.

What you bring:

• You have a completed university Master's degree and have worked at least five years in a comparable function in public administration.
• You are interested in economic, social, and environmental future issues and specifically in Aargau politics.
• You think strategically, work in a structured and precise manner.
• You value teamwork, but also independent conceptual and project work.
• You express yourself with stylistic confidence and appropriately for the target group, both in writing and orally, have a high level of commitment and service orientation, and want to commit long-term.

Your working environment

The Staatskanzlei (https://www.ag.ch/de/verwaltung/sk) supports and advises the entire Government Council. It plans, organizes, and coordinates government processes comprehensively, i.e., including all operational, communicative, legal, and strategic questions.
