Product Owner / Program Manager Measuring Systems m/f/d

I am looking for a Product Owner who wants to be responsible for content and schedule at the same time. My team develops measuring systems for water, gas, and heat for the Swiss home market and for the whole world. Several of our development projects share platforms, tools, and suppliers, and it is exactly this overarching coordination that we are currently missing.

As a Product Owner, you translate the product mandate from product management into a prioritized backlog, decide on the content and sequence of releases, and sign off on the results. You work daily with mechanics, hardware, firmware, and system testing, with quality management, production, regulatory bodies, and OEM customers.

As a Program Manager, you manage several interconnected development projects according to our stage-gate process: shared platforms, tools, and manufacturing partners in Southeast Asia, dependencies and resource conflicts, consolidated status to the division management.

You demonstrate at least six years of experience as a project manager of interdisciplinary, international teams and have managed several parallel projects with a shared platform. You know product development from design through electronics and firmware to industrialization, PPAP, and approvals such as MID. You apply agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban within the stage-gates, help us further develop this way of working in R&D, and you know where its limits lie with hardware involving tool lead times. Your profile is rounded off by a degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering (FH/ETH); certificates as a project manager or Product Owner are a plus.

I myself was a Program Manager at GWF for several years. During that time, I was responsible for the development of encoder counting devices with liter resolution and established OEM products with million-unit volumes in the market. Today I lead over 50 employees in Luzern and Thessaloniki, and from time to time we reinvent ourselves. For this, I am looking for someone who acts proactively, independently, and entrepreneurially, communicates openly in German and English, and reports directly to me.
