The Institute for Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine provides over 30'000 services annually in outpatient and inpatient anesthesiology, in intra- and extra-clinical emergency medicine, as well as in acute and chronic pain medicine. Within the framework of highly specialized medicine at the Universitätsspital Zürich, the Institute for Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine also has service mandates for transplant surgery of all solid organs and the care of all cardiac and vascular surgical procedures, as well as for the treatment of severely burned and multi-trauma patients. Your main tasks

• Anesthesiological care of patients of all specialties
• Operational activity in all surgical areas
• Participation in the on-call service
• Supervision and further training of assistant physicians and specialist physicians as well as experts in anesthesia nursing
• Engagement in the clinical and academic development of the institute

Your profile

• You are highly motivated, resilient, solution-oriented and creative
• A completed doctorate is required
• You have completed specialist training in anesthesiology with experience in regional anesthesia
• Ideally, you already have leadership experience
• Own research activity is an advantage
• With your empathetic and integrating personality, you sustainably promote interprofessional and interdisciplinary cooperation, the team spirit and patient trust
