Die Allgemeine Berufsschule Zürich is the competence center for the professions of gastronomy and hotel management. In addition, it is responsible for the basic education of various other professions. With around 2-200 apprentices and over 100 teachers, it is one of the larger vocational schools in the Canton of Zürich.

For the fixed-term period from 1 November 2026 to 31 December 2027 or by arrangement, we are looking for an Accounting Clerk 30%.

Main tasks ###

• Processing of accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Execution of credit notes, cancellation, and write-off orders
• Co-processing of the dunning process
• General correspondence
• Neat filing of inventory lists and forms
• Recording and processing of inventory in the school administration system

Your profile ###

You like to contribute actively and help shape things, are flexible, and maintain close and efficient cooperation within the team. You can well support digital changes. You encounter the diverse stakeholder groups attentively and professionally, so that you succeed in classifying and prioritizing their concerns.

For these activities, you specifically bring:

• basic commercial training or equivalent
• training with in-depth knowledge of accounting
• Good ICT user knowledge
• independent, exact, well-structured, and reliable way of working
• style-confident German in speech and writing
• experience with Ecoweb is an advantage, but not a requirement
• several years of professional experience in a similar position is an advantage
