With its approx. 200 employees, the centralized AMAG Informatik in Cham ZG is responsible for the entire IT value chain for all group divisions, from project to development and integration to operation and support.

The IT Import department is responsible for the central IT applications and IT services of AMAG Import AG. Our solutions support the entire vehicle logistics and ensure that vehicles are efficiently controlled through all processes from import to delivery.

For our Vehicle Import Management team, we are looking for a personality who, together with our specialist departments, will further develop AMAG's vehicle logistics based on SAP S/4HANA. As an Application Consultant (m/f/d), you will analyze requirements, design sustainable solutions, and work closely with business, development teams, and other IT areas.

What you can achieve with us ##

• Shaping logistics processes: You analyze requirements and develop efficient and sustainable solutions in SAP S/4HANA together with the specialist departments. Your focus is particularly on the Vehicle Management System (VMS) and the associated processes
• Implementing solutions: You independently implement solution concepts via customizing or coordinate the implementation together with our development and integration teams
• Connecting business and IT: You understand the needs of your stakeholders, translate technical requirements into implementable solution approaches, and ensure a common understanding between business and IT
• Driving projects forward: You participate in projects and development initiatives, actively contribute your expertise, and help to continuously improve our system landscape
• Ensuring stable operation: You support the operation of your applications in 2nd-level support, analyze malfunctions, and ensure high service quality together with the team

What you bring with you ##

• Professional qualification: You have a completed degree (FH / university) or comparable training and further education and bring at least five years of experience in the SAP logistics environment, especially in the SD or MM modules as an SAP consultant (internal or external)
• SAP expertise & customizing: You have sound knowledge of SAP customizing and have experience in areas such as pricing, configuration, invoicing, as well as customer order processing
• Technical understanding: You have a good technical understanding in the area of ABAP as well as interfaces and understand the connections between the specialist department and the system landscape
• Project management & agile methods: You have experience in classic and agile project methods and ideally knowledge of the SAFe framework or the motivation to develop further in this environment. You are familiar with using Jira and Confluence
• Industry knowledge & additional qualifications: Ideally, you bring experience with the SAP Vehicle Management System (VMS) as well as knowledge of the automotive industry or vehicle logistics processes
• Communication & language competence: You communicate confidently with different stakeholder groups and have excellent German and very good English skills
