Assembler / Service Technician

Our client, an established Swiss manufacturer of cylindrical grinding machines, is looking for an experienced assembler/service technician to strengthen its service and assembly team. The position includes the assembly of machine components, worldwide installation and commissioning of new machines, as well as maintenance and service work at the customer's site. The client offers a responsible role with modern technologies, targeted further training opportunities, and long-term perspectives in a collegial team with short decision-making paths.

Your tasks

• Carry out machine assembly and installation worldwide at the customer's site
• Take over fault analysis and technical troubleshooting on-site
• Execute maintenance and overhaul work on CNC precision machines
• Ensure service check documentation and commissioning of new machines

Your profile

• Technical training: Completed apprenticeship as a polymechanic or production mechanic required
• Service experience: Knowledge in CNC machine tool service or high willingness to learn desired
• Language skills: Good German skills and basic English skills for international assignments
• Willingness to travel: 30-50% worldwide travel activity and enjoyment of customer contact
