JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Commis de Rang, you actively participate in the smooth running of all dining services at LeCrans. Versatile and flexible, you will be required to intervene at different dining points according to the needs of the activity. You work in close collaboration with the entire restaurant and kitchen team to guarantee a fluid, efficient service in accordance with the standards of a 5-star hotel. You are an essential element in the smooth running of the service and contribute directly to the quality of the experience offered to customers.

This position is ideally available for a start on December 1st, on a fixed-term contract (CDD).

YOUR MAIN MISSIONS

• Prepare the different dining areas before each service
• Set tables and service areas according to the establishment's standards
• Replenish equipment, side stations, and service areas
• Ensure the cleanliness, tidiness, and perfect presentation of the dining areas
• Take part in briefings and inform yourself of the elements necessary for the smooth running of the service
• Assist the Chefs de Rang in taking care of customers and the smooth running of the service
• Perform the service of food and beverages under the supervision of the Chefs de Rang
• Ensure the transport and clearing of plates, the changing of cutlery, and the resetting of tables
• Know the menus, suggestions, products, and beverages in order to respond to customer requests
• Prepare, control, and deliver room service orders in accordance with the establishment's procedures
• Participate in the setup and service of events
• Ensure the clearing, tidying, and resetting of areas after each service or event
• Collaborate closely with all F&B teams to guarantee a fluid and efficient service
• Anticipate the needs of the team and customers for the smooth running of operations.
• Guarantee compliance with the establishment's internal standards and LQA standards.
• Respect hygiene, safety, and HACCP rules as well as current procedures
• Report any special request, breakage, anomaly, or malfunction to your manager

REQUIRED PROFILE:

• First experience in high-end catering or hospitality
• Excellent team spirit.
• Great versatility and flexibility.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage periods of high activity.
• Very good level of French and English mandatory, another language is an asset
• Must have a vehicle
