• Shaping Switzerland's relations with the European Union in the field of public health (including through the analysis of health policy developments in the EU, through the preparation of participation in high-level meetings, and through targeted relationship management)
• Managing foreign and domestic policy work in connection with the Switzerland-EU health agreement (incl. legal aspects)
• Representing health policy interests in connection with existing bilateral Switzerland-EU agreements
• Processing political matters in connection with Switzerland's relations with the EU in the health sector (Federal Council, Parliament)
• Representing the department's interests in other areas of responsibility (including in Switzerland's relations with France in the field of public health, with corresponding relationship management in French, both spoken and written)

What makes you unique

• University degree, preferably in law or political science, and several years of professional experience in the federal administration and/or in an international environment
• Good knowledge of public administration and the political processes of Switzerland
• Good knowledge of the EU and EU policy in the field of public health
• Good knowledge of Switzerland's policy in the field of public health
• Understanding of political contexts, strategic and networked thinking, good analytical and editorial skills, personal responsibility, and ability to work in a team
• Active knowledge of two official languages as well as very good English skills
