In this position, you will assume overall responsibility for the Brunegg warehouse and intralogistics site and specifically develop its operational performance. You will lead the responsible teams, ensure safe and reliable processes, and create the prerequisites for an efficient material flow. With your strong leadership skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and understanding of modern logistics processes, you will actively shape the sustainable further development of the site.

Main tasks:

Site and Leadership Responsibility

Overall responsibility for the Brunegg warehouse and intralogistics site regarding safety, quality, costs, productivity, and delivery performance.

Functional and disciplinary leadership of the team leaders of goods receipt inspection, warehouse, and internal transport.

Ensuring the operational excellence and performance of all subordinate organizational units.

Promotion, development, and qualification of employees as well as further development of the leadership culture.

Active shaping and further development of the site within the framework of the cross-divisional warehouse and production strategy.

Active co-design and implementation of the site-wide warehouse and logistics strategy.

Occupational Safety and Compliance

Overall responsibility for occupational safety and compliance with all relevant safety regulations at the site.

Ensuring compliance with SOX, IKS, and other compliance requirements within the area of responsibility.

Responsibility for correct goods receipt bookings, inventories, and inventory management.

Process and Performance Management

Ensuring efficient, stable, and high-performance logistics processes.

Analysis, definition, and implementation of process optimizations for the continuous improvement of quality, productivity, and costs.

Development and implementation of standards, methods, and key performance indicators for site management.

Incoming Goods Quality Management

Ensuring efficient goods receipt inspection in compliance with defined standards and quality requirements.

Responsibility for the quality of the inspection processes as well as the completeness and traceability of documentation.

Close cooperation with the SCM Quality Team for the further development of goods receipt inspection.

Ensuring the qualification and training of employees in the areas of goods receipt, quality inspection, and warehouse logistics.

Stakeholder and Interface Management

Professional cooperation with internal customers, suppliers, and relevant interfaces to ensure a smooth material flow.

Escalation management as well as sustainable solution of problems and conflicts.

Close coordination with the divisions for the continuous improvement of processes, target values, and key performance indicators.

Representation of the site towards internal and external stakeholders.

Infrastructure and Resource Management

Ensuring the availability of systems, infrastructure, equipment, as well as personnel resources.

Planning, organization, and monitoring of maintenance and repair measures.

Responsibility for investments and improvement projects in the areas of warehouse technology, systems, occupational safety, and ergonomics.

Support in the further development of SAP and warehouse management systems.

Change and Organizational Development

Leading and accompanying change processes as well as active co-design of organizational development.

Promoting a performance-oriented, customer-focused, and innovation-driven culture.

Profile:

Professional Qualifications

Technical basic training with further education at HF/FH level, preferably with a focus on logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.

Several years of professional experience in warehouse logistics, intralogistics, or supply chain management.

At least 5 years of leadership experience in a comparable function with personnel responsibility.

Sound knowledge of warehouse processes, material flow management, and operational logistics.

Very good knowledge of SAP as well as warehouse management systems.

Experience in dealing with key performance indicators, process management, and continuous improvement methods (Lean Management, Six Sigma, or comparable).
