Parasites are everywhere... To strengthen our team, we are looking for a BMA / Laboratory Technician who is not afraid of parasites. The [Diagnostikzentrum Parasitologie](< >) is a department at the [Institut für Parasitologie](< >) of the Universität Zürich and examines stool, blood, and tissue samples from humans and animals for parasites. In doing so, we use microscopic, serological, and molecular methods. We offer * Exciting tasks in the diverse areas of parasitological diagnostics * A wide spectrum of low-automation examination processes and constantly new diagnostic questions. * Regulated working hours, without late or weekend shifts * Thorough induction into two specialist areas: safely into microscopy (stool), as well as depending on current needs into serology or PCR diagnostics * A small, collegial team with short communication channels The position is paid on an hourly basis and offers scope for personal flexibility.
