Spokesperson (100%) auto-suisse is the association of official automobile importers. Our members, through their 4'000 brand agents in Switzerland and in the principality of Liechtenstein, distribute passenger cars, commercial vehicles, buses and coaches. auto-suisse provides services to its members and the public, particularly in the areas of transport and environmental policy, statistics and automotive technology. At a political level, auto-suisse defends the interests of the automotive sector and road freight transport and is committed to individual motorized traffic and motorists. In the midst of a major transformation process, motorized traffic is on the way to abandoning fossil fuels in favor of climate-neutral technologies, notably electric mobility. We are looking for 1 November 2026 or by agreement a/an Spokesperson (100%) Your main tasks: Responsibility for media relations and the public image of auto-suisse (press releases, press conferences, campaigns, responding to media inquiries, writing articles and interviews) Responsibility for internal and external communication (website, blog articles, newsletter, social media) Responsibility for preparing steering committee meetings and writing the minutes Responsibility for preparing and conducting meetings with the public relations representatives of the members and writing the minutes Writing circulars for communication with members regarding your area of responsibility Support for the maintenance of the internal and external network (members, partner associations, politics and administration) Coordination of the political processing of files concerning the motorized mobility sector Coordination of the development of presentations, positions, consultations and basic documents Conducting presentations and participating in round tables on the main themes of the association Writing circulars for communication with members regarding your area of responsibility Conducting presentations and participating in round tables on the main themes of the association The following skills are necessary to carry out these tasks successfully: In-depth knowledge of the automotive sector Extensive experience and proven professional skills in the field of public relations Large network with automotive and economic journalists Analytical and structured working method Orientation towards superior quality work Above-average commitment Language skills: excellent command of German and French, both spoken and written. Knowledge of English is an asset.
