• Lead demanding, cross-departmental projects in the field of child and youth policy, such as the current project on the national strategy for child and youth policy, as well as develop political and conceptual decision-making bases
• Shape the follow-up to the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and coordinate cooperation with the involved federal offices, cantons and civil society organizations
• Process parliamentary motions, write reports and dossiers for the Federal Council, answer citizen inquiries
• Represent the office in specialist committees, project groups and parliamentary commissions
• Review applications for financial assistance regarding the child rights credit

This makes you unique

• Master's degree in social, legal or political sciences
• Sound knowledge of child and youth policy as well as children's rights and a broad understanding of socio-political contexts
• Proven experience in leading complex projects
• Enjoyment of independent work and interdisciplinary teamwork
• Active knowledge of two official languages as well as very good English skills
