Group Consolidation Specialist (m/f/d) 80 - 100 %

What this role is about

You combine sound group accounting with the ambition to further develop reporting and consolidation processes. In the consolidation team, you participate in the group financial statements, work closely with our international finance teams, and at the same time shape the future process and system landscape.

Here is how you contribute

• Together with the team, you ensure a timely and high-quality consolidation of the financial data of our international group companies
• You check, plausibilize, and analyze the reported financial data and clarify deviations directly with the local finance teams
• You perform and monitor central consolidation steps: equity, debt, expense, and income consolidation, intercompany reconciliation, interim result elimination, and currency translation
• You prepare and analyze consolidation entries, evaluations, and group reports
• You support the group balance sheet, group profit and loss statement, cash flow statement, notes to the financial statements, and other closing documents such as the management report
• You work closely with auditors as well as internal specialist departments such as Accounting, Controlling, Tax, IT, and SAP.

How you fit with us

• You have a higher education in finance and accounting or a comparable qualification
• You bring professional experience in group accounting, Group Accounting, finance and accounting, or in auditing
• You are familiar with group accounting standards and understand the essential consolidation methods
• You work very confidently with Excel and bring a pronounced affinity for numbers
• You communicate well in German and English - both written and spoken
• You work analytically, structured, and independently and appreciate working in an international environment

A PLUS, BUT NOT A MUST

Experience with consolidation software as well as knowledge of IBM Cognos Controller. Knowledge of SAP or SAP S/4HANA and a good understanding of ERP, data, and interface topics.
