Integres-Integration specialist center for the Schaffhausen region

Integres is the integration specialist center for the Schaffhausen region and is responsible for the counseling and information of people who have moved to the area. As a cantonal contact point for discrimination protection and intercultural conflicts, we also advocate for respectful and diverse coexistence. Furthermore, we realize diverse projects in the areas of coexistence and participation, dealing with diversity, language promotion, and early childhood.

To complement our team, we are looking for starting 1 January 2027 a

Social Worker Integration Area (50%)

Your tasks with us

• Active collaboration in the establishment of a key person network
• Strategic further development of social counseling
• Social counseling regarding the topics of migration and integration

What you should bring

• Affinity for and interest in migration and integration issues
• Training in Social Work or a comparable qualification
• Experience or further training in the field of counseling
• Knowledge in the areas of social counseling

(Housing, work, job seeking, families, social insurance, etc.)

• Joy in networking and in working with people
• Structured and independent way of working, high communication skills, reliability, flexibility, as well as motivation to contribute to a small team
• Experience or further training in project work (conceptual and operational)
• Good networking in the Schaffhausen region is an advantage
