Operator Logistics Purpose of the role As an Operator Logistics, you are an important part of our supply chain. You ensure that materials and products are in the right place at the right time and that our customers receive their orders on time and in the best quality. Through your work, you significantly support the production and delivery performance of the VAT Group. Responsibilities • Receipt, picking, and preparation of products for shipment • Packing of valves and components according to work and packaging instructions • Loading and unloading of trucks as well as internal material transport • Operation of forklifts and crane systems • Recording of goods movements with scanners and internal systems • Carrying out inventories • Compliance with quality, safety, GOMPA, and freight security regulations (BAZL) • Participation in continuous improvements (KVP) Qualifications • Good German skills in speaking and writing, English is an advantage • Driver's license category B • Forklift license is an advantage • Experience in logistics, warehouse, shipping or production is an advantage • Basic knowledge in handling PC, hand scanners and mobile data systems • Readiness for shift work as well as occasional overtime or weekend work • Physically resilient and healthy • Reliable, careful and independent way of working • Teamwork skills, flexibility and quality awareness • Flawless criminal record (police extract required)
