The Hochschule Luzern – Rektorat und Hochschuldienste supports the six departments of Technik & Architektur, Wirtschaft, Informatik, Soziale Arbeit, Design Film Kunst as well as Musik in university operations with its departments and organizes and participates in a versatile manner. To reinforce our team, we are looking for you immediately or by arrangement as Senior System Engineer (Evento ERP) 80 - 100% Your tasks You support our Windows Server Team with infrastructure engineering and operational tasks surrounding our Evento ERP multi-server landscape and take on tasks in 2nd/3rd-level support, as well as in small projects as a technical PL, and as a technical coordinator between all stakeholders. You operate and optimize our virtual Windows and optional Linux servers and bring experience with classic on-prem server environments, including deployment, security, monitoring and backup systems. As a skilled MSSQL and optional PostgreSQL DBA, you also take care of the operation and maintenance of our Evento ERP databases. You drive the automation and standardization of our server landscapes and support the implementation of new infrastructure concepts with containerization with K8s. IT security is a matter of course for you; in doing so, you work closely with our Cybersecurity Team. Your profile You have training or further education (HF/FH) in computer science or equivalent experience as well as several years of professional experience as a System Engineer in the Microsoft and ERP environment. You bring experience in the design, construction and holistic responsibility of complex enterprise systems. You have very good knowledge of Windows Server, IIS, MSSQL, AD, GPOs, MDE, DNS/DHCP, Proxy, Firewalls, software distribution and backup solutions. You are experienced in automation with PowerShell and MECM. You work in a structured, security- and responsibility-conscious manner, are team-oriented and communicate clearly. You have very good German skills and good English skills in spoken and written form.
