Bern, Schweiz (and home office) | 80-100% What Supply Security Manager Bern, Schweiz (and home office) | 80-100% What you can contribute lead the Supply Security area on technical, personnel, organizational, and financial levels address strategic issues regarding supply security and ensure the implementation of strategic guidelines within the area of competence take technical and organizational responsibility for the file related to the popular initiative "Yes to medical supply security" and the direct counter-proposal as well as subsequent legislative work steer and coordinate demanding projects aimed at improving supply security in normal and crisis situations, including during pandemic preparation ensure technical cooperation and coordination with other units within the OFSP and with external organizations What makes you unique university degree in political or natural sciences, medicine, or pharmacy, accompanied by specific knowledge and/or continuing education in supply security the very good knowledge of Swiss health policy several years of professional experience in a leadership role and experience in managing complex projects; keen interest, great commitment, great flexibility, and a marked ability to think systemically and strategically sense and proven negotiation skills, innovative spirit, high social skills, and the ability to grasp complex relationships and weave links between distinct thematic fields the very good knowledge of the official languages and of English; the main working language is German In a few words It is planned to implement, starting from 1 January 2027, the Competence Center for Supply Security within the Biomedicine division, as a standalone section, while integrating it into the structures of the OFSP. This is why we are looking for a person to lead this section from this date.
