• Plan, control and successfully implement complex IT projects from initialization to introduction, as well as lead the project team competently and strategically
• Ensure project goals regarding time, cost, quality and performance and inform project steering in a manner appropriate to the target group
• Develop concepts, preliminary studies and decision-making bases as well as strategically prepare projects
• Conduct stakeholder management and ensure quality, risk and resource management
• Coordinate procurements and apply suitable project methods, tools and standards
• Be responsible for / create project documentation and observe developments in project management and integrate them into project work

What makes you unique

• Higher education in technology or business administration with further training in project management or in business informatics; project management certification or equivalent proof of performance is an advantage
• Several years of experience in leading demanding IT projects as well as ideally leadership experience
• Sound know-how in project management, business administration and financial planning; basic legal knowledge is an advantage
• Analytical mindset, grasp of complex contexts as well as conceptual, organizational and editorial strength
• Enjoyment in working with different stakeholders as well as strong communication and negotiation skills
• Good active knowledge of two official languages as well as business fluent English skills

fedpol develops and operates national information systems and fulfills supervisory, licensing and enforcement tasks in weapons and explosives law. The Directorate for Police Systems and Identification (PSI) of fedpol ensures the secure operation and further development of central police information systems and databases, is responsible for the national hub for police information exchange and provides identification and forensic services for domestic and foreign partner authorities. The Police Systems Department (POLS) ensures the secure and stable operation of central information systems of the Swiss police. It develops these systems further according to requirements using agile methods and ensures their availability, functionality and performance for police work.
