Tasks
Conception, construction and further development of databases and scalable data architectures for AI applications
Construction, further development and operation of data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
Development of suitable solutions for data storage, data integration as well as batch and streaming processing
Preparation and provision of data as a basis for AI applications
Application of AI and machine learning methods for data analysis and development of data-based solutions
Integration of data and ML solutions into existing software and system landscapes via APIs and services
Collaboration in data governance, data lifecycle management as well as data access and security concepts

Requirements
Completed education in computer science, data science or a comparable field of study or lateral entrant with equivalent practical experience
Several years of experience in the construction and implementation of complex data-driven solutions
Sound knowledge of relational databases, object stores and vector databases
Very good knowledge in data engineering, especially in data modeling, data integration, data pipelines and storage technologies
Solid understanding of Kubernetes-based environments and enterprise storage, especially NetApp
Independent, analytical and solution-oriented way of working
Fluent German skills; English skills (Level B2) are an advantage
Military career as a higher non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
