The Heilpädagogisches Zentrum Hohenrain is a competence center for the training, promotion and care of around 200 children and adolescents in the areas of cognitive development and language development in teaching, social pedagogy and therapy from the basic level up to the age of 18. Around 300 employees from various professions in the areas of teaching, social pedagogy, therapy, care, housekeeping, technical service and administration contribute to this.

At the Heilpädagogisches Zentrum Hohenrain, children and adolescents with special support needs are supported and promoted holistically. Together with a committed team, you will shape a reliable and varied everyday life, take responsibility for a day structure group and create a framework in which the children can develop their skills and develop independence.

Your tasks

• Together with your team, you shape a varied everyday life for children aged 5 to 12 with speech impairments or cognitive impairments.
• You take over the professional and personnel leadership of three to four employees and bear responsibility for a day structure group.
• With empathy, you accompany the children and support them in discovering new things and unfolding themselves.
• You are committed to the well-being of the children and, if necessary, undertake nursing and housekeeping tasks.
• Your assignments take place mainly during school weeks on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Your profile

• You have completed training in social pedagogy or as a Fachperson Betreuung and bring initial leadership experience.
• Working with children with a disability brings you joy, and you already have experience in this.
• Patience, serenity and humor are among your strengths, so that you can respond flexibly to individual needs.
• Networked thinking, good German skills in speaking and writing as well as confident IT user skills round off your profile.
