For the care of three children with special needs, who are integrated into regular care, we are looking for a Specialist in Care ISR at Betreuung Schauenberg 1 as of 17.08.2026.

Tasks ##

• You support three primary school children with special needs during after-school care (Hort)
• With your pedagogical specialist knowledge, you accompany the ISR children in social and subject-related learning
• You perform the workload of 67 % on 5 days per week.
• You are interested in interdisciplinary cooperation with the school staff involved in the promotion and the parents

Profile ##

• EFZ Fachperson Betreuung, dipl. Kleinkinderzieher*in (for applications with a foreign diploma / specialist certificate, a Swiss diploma recognition must be mandatorily attached)
• Motivated, open, resilient personality with a positive view of people
• Flexibility as well as very good teamwork and communication skills
• Joy in dealing with persons of different cultures and willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation in the school team
• Professional experience in family-supplementary care is an advantage

About us ##

We are a large school community in Zürich-Nord with 19 schools. We derive our pedagogical attitude from the concept of New Authority and thus meet the daily challenges in everyday school life together and effectively.

The Tagesschule Schauenberg includes the Mittag- /Abendhorte Glaubten 1, Glaubten 2, Eigengrund, Lerchenhalde Primar, Lerchenhalde Kiga and Schauenberg 1. In the locations Glaubten 1, Glaubten 2, Lerchenhalde, Eigengrund, around 30 kindergarten children are cared for daily; in Schauenberg 1, it is up to 260 children over midday, from the first to the sixth grade. The care facilities are open from Monday to Friday from 11.55 to 18.00 hours as well as during all school holidays of the Stadt Zürich.
