Data and Process Specialist (m/f/d)

FINMA supervises the Swiss financial market. It protects the interests of investors, creditors, and the insured and, through its supervision, contributes to the stability and competitiveness of the financial market players. For this purpose, over 800 competent and motivated employees are engaged daily.

In the Banking business unit, we offer you a position as

Main tasks

• Creation and maintenance of meaningful analyses and reports
• Identifying optimization potential in technical solutions
• Further development of processes with a focus on data-based supervision
• Ensuring data quality
• Specialist representation / participation in cross-departmental projects
• Data preparation for international surveys (IMF)

Profile

• Degree (Business Administration, Business Informatics or similar) or at least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable function
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills as well as a quick grasp
• High level of commitment and initiative
• Experience in the areas of Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (Power BI, Power Pivot, Report Builder), MS SQL Server, relational databases
• Programming skills (Python, R) are an advantage
• Very good German or French skills (C2) as well as good knowledge of the respective other language (B2), good English skills (B2)
