Tasks
Preparation of installation work:

• Establish the technical documentation for electrical installations
• Prepare the necessary material and tools, order them as needed
• Store material on the construction site
• Ensure and maintain the electrical power supply necessary for the work
• Locate, using plans, the exact position of the various elements of the installation, such as sockets, switches, or junction boxes
• Arrange and fix conduit tubes before the pouring of the concrete slab or the construction of walls, ceilings, or floors

Installation of devices and systems:

• Pull cables, connect sockets, switches, and electrical panels, in compliance with safety rules
• Install and commission electrical devices and systems
• Install elements for building automation or for electrical systems, such as lighting controls or temperature settings
• Install communication systems to enable Internet and multimedia connections
• Install components intended for electrical energy systems, such as solar installations
• Set up security installations such as fire alarm systems or emergency lighting

Maintenance and repair of electrical installations:

• Perform the initial inspection of the installation, then commission it
• Adjust the voltage, intensity, and power of the electrical installation using measuring devices
• In case of a fault, discuss with the client or user to understand what is not working
• Repair or replace electrical devices or defective parts
• Hand over the installation to the client
• Write a report specifying the work performed
