Layout & Transients Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Hydraulic design and dimensioning of water turbines
• Project designs for conversion and new plants incl. potential studies
• Performance of transient system analyses incl. water hammer calculations
• Stability analyses for the grid integration of hydropower plants
• Further development of tools and technologies for system analysis
• Technical support for sales, project execution and commissioning (national & international)

Your profile

• Completed studies as a mechanical engineer FH/ETH/TU or comparable training
• Profound knowledge of hydraulic machines and hydropower plants
• Analytical strength as well as enjoyment in processing complex questions in an interdisciplinary environment
• Business fluent German and good English skills; further languages an advantage
• Strong customer and service orientation
• Teamwork skills, intercultural competence as well as high willingness to learn and research interest
