IAM Engineer (f/m/d) Be your best with Bechtle On behalf of our client based in Fribourg, we are looking for an IAM Engineer (f/m/d) responsible for contributing to the implementation, evolution, and operational maintenance of IAM services in a Microsoft and application environment. Your mission Contribute to the implementation and evolution of IAM processes, including provisioning from a source of truth, identity lifecycle management, recertification, Privileged Identity Management, and Conditional Access Policies. Accompany project teams in defining the application security model and choosing the authentication and authorization flows to be implemented, including OAuth/OIDC, SAML, and SCIM. Configure App registrations, authentication mechanisms, group-based authorizations, and access rights to application resources in Entra ID and Azure. Administer the application access portal, in particular the configuration and monitoring of Entitlement Management in Entra ID. Ensure the operational maintenance of the IAM platform, provide level 3 support, handle complex incidents, and produce the necessary documentation for operation and knowledge sharing. Your profile Professional experience of at least 3 to 5 years in the IAM field, with solid skills in an IAM solution; knowledge of EmpowerID is an asset. Very good mastery of Entra ID, Active Directory, and Azure (Users, Groups, Roles, Identity Governance, Azure RBAC, and Conditional Access Policies); knowledge of Entra Connect and MTO is a plus. Good understanding of OAuth/OIDC, SAML, and SCIM protocols, with the ability to configure App registrations and support development teams in their implementations. Practical experience with PowerShell and SQL Server, including script automation, data model reading, and simple SQL query writing; knowledge of T-SQL, DevOps, Power BI, or Terraform is an advantage. Excellent mastery of French, good understanding of English, as well as strong analytical, autonomous, collaborative, problem-solving, and documentary writing skills.
