Anyone who confuses <<Steuerverwaltung>> with mountains of paper, pencils, and sluggish officials is quite wrong. We are working increasingly digitally, organizing ourselves with new forms of work, and acting in a customer-oriented manner.

Your tasks

• Receive all calls from internal and external customers
• Clarify, answer queries, or forward them to the responsible specialist department
• Ensure the reception of our customers on-site and provide information to various internal and external bodies
• Process the central email inboxes of the Steuerverwaltung of the Canton of Bern
• Record tax-relevant documents and information in a timely manner

Your profile

• Commercial basic training or equivalent
• Many years of professional experience in a similar activity with an interest in tax topics
• Flexible, high service orientation with enjoyment of customer contact
• Accustomed to networked thinking and structured working
• German native language, fluent oral French skills, further language skills an advantage
