What you can contribute

• Conduct international mutual legal assistance procedures in often complex and/or high-profile proceedings
• Order the necessary coercive measures for the collection of evidence (including before the Courts of coercive measures) as well as for the seizure and confiscation of the proceeds of crime
• Issue interlocutory and final decisions relating to the granting of mutual legal assistance
• Take a position before the Federal Criminal Court and the Federal Supreme Court in case of disputes regarding the scope or the granting of assistance
• Ensure the coordination of mutual assistance procedures with domestic criminal proceedings conducted in the same sets of facts

What makes you unique

• University degree in law (master's level) with specialization in the field of criminal prosecution and good knowledge of criminal law and criminal procedure; bar exam
• Several years of practical experience within a public prosecutor's office or a court in a similar function
• Proficiency in the economic and IT fields
• In-depth knowledge of criminal procedure (in particular coercive measures) and mastery of administrative procedure
• Strong initiative, analytical skills and diplomatic skills, cross-disciplinary thinking, versatility and an open mind
• Ability to communicate in at least two national languages as well as in English

In a few words

In this role, you will lead the execution of foreign mutual assistance requests in the areas of evidence collection and the identification, seizure and surrender for the purposes of confiscation of assets related to crime. Your field of activity will cover the entire range of competence of the MPC, from terrorism to international corruption and stock market offenses. You may also be asked occasionally to support criminal proceedings in the areas of terrorism, cybercrime or international criminal law.
