Veterinarian Small Animal Medicine 60 - 100% Thun

As a veterinarian, you will take over the independent medical care of your animal patients from the first examination to therapy and follow-up in an established small animal practice in the Thun area. Working at a workload of 60 to 100%, you will work with digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory and other diagnostic procedures and can also contribute surgically. The position is suitable both for entering the profession after veterinary medicine studies as well as for veterinarians with professional experience and is available immediately or by arrangement. Daily work includes day shifts as well as on-call duty.

• Care and treatment of small animals in daily practice
• Performance of diagnostics such as X-ray, ultrasound and laboratory analyses
• Independent clarification of clinical pictures and development of individual therapy approaches
• Performance of surgical interventions in the field of soft tissue surgery and other specialist areas
• Advising pet owners on health, prevention and nutrition
• Collaboration in a holistic treatment concept with conventional medicine and complementary methods

What you bring with you

• Completed studies in veterinary medicine with a Master of Veterinary Medicine MVetMed degree or an equivalent degree recognized in Switzerland
• Also suitable for career newcomers directly after studies
• Enjoyment of practical veterinary work
• Independent and responsible way of working
• Interest in modern diagnostics and holistic therapy approaches
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
