CERN is a particle physics research center, hosting scientists from all over the world. CERN's Scientific Information Service offers a dynamic, international, and stimulating work environment.

For the 2027 intake, we are looking for a motivated apprentice to learn the profession of Agent en Information Documentaire in a scientific and multilingual environment.

Required qualifications

• Having completed compulsory schooling
• Having a school level corresponding to the 11ème in Geneva or the 3ème in France
• Good command of written and spoken French
• Knowledge of English and German

Selection procedure:

Selection is done in 3 stages:

• Interview
• Tests: French, English, German, logic
• Practical internship: 2 days

Employment conditions:

We offer a 3-year AID apprenticeship, during which the apprentice splits their time between school (CEC Nicolas Bouvier, Genève) and CERN.

Salary: 770 CHF the first year with an increase each year during the following two years.
