To strengthen its teams, DEMARCHE is looking for its restaurant l’Union in Épalinges, a CHEF DE RANG - on-call contract - extra Profile: Do you possess a CFC as a restaurant specialist? Do you have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position? Do you master cash register software and have good knowledge of hygiene and safety standards (HACCP)? Are you endowed with a keen sense of organization and communication? Do you have good resistance to stress and a good capacity for adaptation? Do you have an interest in the fields of support, adult training, and socio-professional integration? Your main activities: As a chef de rang, you manage and organize the activities of a section according to the directives of the maître d'hôtel, you coordinate the work of the commis and people in employment-training. Service: Welcome and take charge of clients from their arrival until their departure Organize the work of the commis de salle and the beneficiaries on their section Manage and coordinate the service on their section to guarantee quality Ensure continuous satisfaction of clients Manage payment collection and closings Manage the tidying of the room and the setup for the next service Control the goods received Team Supervision & Training: Ensure the supervision and coordination of the team's activities by organizing, distributing, and controlling the work. Develop the professional and personal skills of the beneficiaries and promote their re/integration into the labor market. Supervise, train, empower, and evaluate beneficiaries and apprentices. Train and coach on specific themes relating to the activities of the sector Set objectives and evaluate the skills of the beneficiaries The framework of the collaboration: We are looking for a person wishing to engage in a regular and lasting collaboration with our establishment within the framework of an on-call contract. You intervene mainly as reinforcement for the team during absences, holidays, or occasional service needs. This is not a position with a fixed schedule or a guaranteed number of hours. We are thus looking for a person benefiting from good availability and a certain flexibility, notably for replacements that can sometimes be organized at short notice. In order to facilitate these interventions, we prefer a person domiciled near Epalinges or able to easily reach the Hôtel-Restaurant de l'Union.
