As the cantonal contact point for family and youth policy matters, we are responsible for the continuous improvement of the framework conditions for diverse life situations of children, adolescents and their families.

We are the direct contact point for educational and care questions and accompany children, adolescents and their families in emergency situations. We network providers of child and youth promotion, child and youth welfare and advise in cases of suspected child welfare endangerment. We advise institutions of family and school-based supplementary care and promote the compatibility of work and family.

Since the spring semester 2025, a pilot project for school social work at secondary level II has been running. The project is initially limited until the end of 2027. As part of a workload reduction, we are looking for the location Kantonsschule, effective immediately or by arrangement

• Further development of low-threshold school social work in the team at the Kantonsschule location
• Advising adolescents, parents and teachers
• Contact person in crises and conflicts
• Work in individual case assistance, with groups and classes (prevention and intervention)

What you bring with you ##

• University of Applied Sciences degree in Social Work (FH) or comparable
• Experience and/or further training in the field of school social work
• Strong interest in adolescence and young adulthood
• High commitment to the development of school social work projects and concepts
• Communicative personality and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
