The Département de médecine de premier recours (DMPR) has the societal mission of enabling access to quality care for all through community medicine, ensuring the management of minor medical and surgical emergencies, promoting prevention among citizens, providing medical knowledge for judicial investigations, and promoting the health of travelers.

The Service de médecine de premier recours ensures the outpatient care of adult patients requiring primary care medicine. This service also offers outpatient emergency medicine services to the population. Within the framework of the HUG's missions of general interest, it offers access to care for populations disadvantaged by their age, social, economic, or legal status (asylum seekers, those facing non-admissibility, undocumented persons, prisoners), or their lifestyle; if necessary, the primary care medicine service also ensures the continuity of their care.

Nursing Team Leader - UETP/UDMPR/SMTH - 80%
As a Nursing Team Leader (RES), you will ensure the steering and supervision of the nursing teams of the Unité d'Éducation Thérapeutique (UETP), the Unité des dépendances en médecine de premier recours (UDMPR), as well as the Service de Médecine Tropicale et Humanitaire (SMTH).

You exercise mobilizing leadership that promotes the quality and safety of care, the development of professional skills, as well as the engagement of employees. In this capacity, you support the members of your team through individualized follow-up and regular feedback, in a dynamic of continuous improvement and enhancement of professional practices.

You are responsible for the planning, organization, and optimization of resources, ensuring an efficient allocation of staff according to activity needs and institutional priorities. The function involves mobility between different activity sites; you are therefore willing to intervene on several sites, depending on organizational needs and team activities.

Thanks to your excellent interpersonal skills, your ability to unite teams, and your openness to change, you support professionals in organizational transformations and the evolution of care practices. You contribute actively to the development of clinical practices, the integration of new professions, and the promotion of an interprofessional culture that favors the quality of care.

You encourage collaborative work and develop team cohesion to meet current and future challenges of the health system, while embodying and promoting the institutional values of the HUG.

You integrate your actions into the policy defined by the Direction des soins and you deploy the work axes and strategic projects initiated by the Département de médecine de premier recours.

Through your interpersonal ease and sense of partnership, you contribute to the development and coordination of collaborations with actors in the Geneva health network. You also ensure the coordination of structures or projects involving external partners.

Qualifications
You hold a Bachelor HES in nursing or an equivalent diploma recognized by the Croix-Rouge Suisse, as well as a diploma as an expert in emergency care. A right of practice in the canton of Geneva is indispensable.
A CAS in management of health institutions is required or must be acquired during employment.
You are a confirmed manager or have been selected for the RES succession program, under the aegis of the Direction des ressources humaines and the Direction des soins.
You benefit from at least five years of practice in a hospital sector and experience in a managerial function is an asset.
You have perfect mastery of standard and institutional IT tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, DPA, DPI, etc.).
You possess solid managerial and organizational skills allowing you to lead teams in a complex environment, manage priorities, and support the development of employees.
You demonstrate excellent adaptation and decision-making abilities when faced with complex or unforeseen situations, as well as good resistance to stress.
Experience in outpatient care, community health, therapeutic education, tropical medicine, or the humanitarian field constitutes an important asset.
You possess a good knowledge of the Geneva community health network as well as a strong interest in global health issues and intercultural care.
Experience in coordinating projects or structures involving external partners, notably international organizations, NGOs, or academic institutions, is highly appreciated.
You have a good level of spoken and written English, allowing you to move easily in an international and multicultural environment.
Finally, you are recognized for your interpersonal qualities, your benevolent communication, and your ability to develop lasting partnerships.
