• Carry out suitability and fitness assessments for members of the military flight service as well as for military and civil specialists
• Independently conduct consultations including care and follow-up treatments
• Analyze aero-medical issues and derive concrete measures from them
• Convey aero-medical teaching internally and help shape professional development
• Support and document the processes of the Aeromedical Center according to EASA and FAA specifications
• Work interdisciplinary with psychology, flight safety and operations

What makes you unique

• Specialist title General Internal Medicine or Occupational Medicine
• Further training or sound knowledge in aero-medical topics
• Committed, team-oriented and prudent personality
• Interest in further training to become an accredited flight medical examiner (AME)
• Good active knowledge of at least one second official language, preferably passive knowledge of a third official language and good English skills

Das Kommando Operationen (Kdo Op) is responsible for all military operations and missions of the Swiss Army. Kdo Op includes, among others, the Luftwaffe, the Heer, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT competence center, the Kommando Spezialkräfte as well as the Militärpolizei. Around 40 % of the approx. 2'500 employees are civilly employed - from engineers to aircraft mechanics to analysts.

The Swiss Army employs over 9'000 employees in four military and around 200 civil professions - and this at 110 locations throughout Switzerland. Provision is also made for new talent: The Swiss Army trains apprentices in over 30 professions.
