We are looking for a Nurse for our multipurpose medicine and surgery unit with an oncological focus at 90% Key information about the position: Reference: CLS/RH/2026\.776 / Contract type: Permanent Contract at 90% / Hours: Monday to Sunday in 12-hour day shifts (7h-20h) / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop « Riponne » or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop « Beaulieu-Jomini ») Why do we need you? You will evolve within an engaged interdisciplinary team, dedicated to offering comprehensive and high-quality care at every stage of the care pathway. What will you be expected to do? Ensure adapted and individualized nursing care while respecting quality and safety rules Ensure pre- and post-operative patient care in general surgery Accompany patients at different stages of oncological disease as well as their relatives and administer specific treatments Rigigorously apply hygiene and asepsis rules Collaborate closely with all health professionals involved in the care Contribute to the supervision and training of students Update the computerized patient file and ensure the traceability of care performed Actively participate in development and continuous improvement projects for the unit Who will you be working with? The team is composed of 30 collaborators (nurses, ASSC and nursing assistants). Our team is bright, dynamic, and works in a solidary manner in order to be able to collectively offer the best care to our hospitalized patients. In this position, you will report to Savary (ICUS) and Pauline Stival (ICUS Adjointe), Unit Care Managers. With more than 12 years of experience in acute care, including 7 years at the Clinique de La Source, the ICUS contribute to the development of the skills of each team member by ensuring a climate of trust and benevolence is always maintained. What do we expect from you? Essentials: HES nurse diploma or title deemed equivalent, recognized by the Swiss Red Cross Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with an ease of operating in various environments (medicine and surgery) Strong sense of responsibility, solid team spirit, and a real will for collaboration and mutual aid Ability to manage stress effectively and face unforeseen events with composure Flexibility and availability to adapt to fluctuations in activity Affirmed versatility and interest in the richness of multidisciplinary care Your assets: Professional experience in oncology, medicine and/or surgery Pronounced interest in the technicality of care and demanding environments Autonomy, spirit of initiative, and solid clinical judgment capacity Why choose the Clinique de La Source?
