Aafag AG is a Swiss company with around 85 employees and combines development services, testing and test equipment manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, and end-of-product-life services under one roof. Our main location is in Kleinandelfingen (ZH). Production currently takes place mostly in Diessenhofen (TG) and will be moved mostly to Kleinandelfingen during the course of 2027.

Do you have experience in SMD manufacturing and want to contribute your technical know-how in a modern production environment? Then become part of our team and actively help shape our SMD manufacturing. Depending on company development, there is the possibility to take on additional technical responsibility within the SMD department in the medium term.

Your tasks

• Setup, preparation, programming, and operation of our SMD assembly lines.
• Programming, setup, and optimization of AOI and SPI systems.
• Ensuring a smooth production process across the entire SMD line.
• Maintenance, upkeep, and optimization of the SMD systems as well as troubleshooting technical faults.
• Carrying out quality inspections and fault diagnoses according to IPC-A-610.
• Creation and maintenance of checklists, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Collaboration in the introduction of new products and manufacturing processes.
• Technical support within production as well as close cooperation with quality assurance and technology.
• Continuous optimization of processes and workflows in SMD manufacturing.

Your profile

• Several years of professional experience in SMD manufacturing.
• Experience in the setup, programming, and optimization of SMD assembly equipment.
• Knowledge of AOI and SPI systems as well as the entire SMD process chain.
• Experience in the analysis of machine and process data is an advantage.
• Knowledge according to IPC-A-610.
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
• Quality awareness, initiative, and sense of responsibility.
• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing.
• Readiness for two-shift operation (operating time 06.00–22.00).
