Your responsibility

• You lead the school social services of the secondary schools together with a second leader and take responsibility for the joint management and further development of the service.
• You lead a total of around 29 school social workers at 20 school locations (supervision of approx. 14 employees each including personnel recruitment as well as approx. 10 school locations).
• You lead and support the decentralised team both individually and as a whole team and create good framework conditions for effective school social work.
• You take over the organizational management of the school social services and ensure clear processes and good cooperation.
• You support the school social workers with professional questions and in demanding situations.
• Together with the specialist commission and the team, you shape the professional and strategic further development of the school social services.
• You maintain active cooperation with the school management as well as with relevant specialist offices and professional networks.

Your background

• You have a Master's in Social Work or a Bachelor's with corresponding additional qualifications.
• You bring sound professional knowledge in school social work and/or in the counseling of adolescents and families as well as good knowledge of the child and youth welfare system.
• You have leadership experience or leadership potential and can imagine a shared leadership responsibility with a clear division of tasks.
• You work cooperatively and reliably and know how to bring different perspectives together.
• You approach employees and various stakeholders in an appreciative, solution-oriented manner and at eye level.
• You communicate clearly, confidently and appropriately for the target group - both orally and in writing.
• You are well organized, work independently and efficiently and maintain an overview even with different requirements.
