ElCom - for a secure electricity supply and fair tariffs The Federal Electricity Commission (ElCom) is the independent state regulatory authority in the electricity sector. It monitors compliance with the Electricity Supply Act and Energy Act, security of supply in the electricity sector and electricity prices. ElCom is part of the Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications (UVEK).
