Ittigen | 80-100% What you can contribute <br /> • As head of the specialized service, represent medical issues related to the NBC field within the medical service • Develop directives for the CBRN medical field as well as contributions to national protection against CBRN threats • Continually monitor the situation regarding CBRN threats and take the resulting medical measures to protect troops in Switzerland and abroad • Advise the high-security laboratory in Spiez and the NBC-DEMUNEX competence center, and develop contributions for research activities • Coordinate training and development in military medicine in the field of NBC defense, develop and revise the corresponding training bases, and advise the army chief medical officer as well as other managers • Represent the needs and interests of the Swiss Army within national and international working groups, assume the deputy role for the head of the Medical Intelligence field <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Physician holding a federal diploma or a federally recognized diploma, holding a university degree (master's) in a natural science discipline • Understanding of military medicine processes (preferably staff officer) as well as in-depth knowledge in the CBRN field or the willingness to train / deepen knowledge in this field • Ability to quickly identify cause-and-effect links and derive measures from them, as well as an autonomous and proactive working method • Willingness to work in a team, to get involved in specialist committees and to travel abroad regularly • Good active command of at least a second official language and, if possible, passive knowledge of a third official language, as well as a very good command of English <br /> In a few words In this unique position within the Swiss Army, you will act as an expert for various stakeholders to advise them on medical prevention issues and defense against chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive (CBRN) threats, and you will play a leading role in the development of operational directives relating to CBRN medical defense.
