Senior Data Analyst & Data Scientist 80-100% (w/m/d)

What you can achieve • Development, maintenance and further development of analyses and reports in Qlik Sense • Co-design and construction of new analytics services (e.g. planning service, predictive analytics) as well as their provision to the business for the joint development of concrete use cases • Operation, optimization and expansion of the deployed on premise analytics toolstack • Introducing and establishing best practices around business intelligence, data-driven planning and artificial intelligence within the team • Advising and supporting the business departments with requirement specification as well as with requests related to analytics • Promoting data literacy in the company What you bring with you • Degree in (business) informatics, data science or a comparable qualification • In-depth, multi-year experience in the development of analyses and reports with Qlik Sense, ideally in an on premise environment • Proven conceptual and practical experience in the field of machine learning and data science as well as sound knowledge of Python • Solid understanding of ETL processes, data modeling and relational database technologies - MSSQL and Talend knowledge is a plus, but not a focus of this role • Knowledge in handling SAP S/4HANA • Experience working within matrix organizations as well as the ability to communicate complex analytical issues understandably to non-technical stakeholders • Structured, quality- and solution-oriented way of working with a focus on delivery as well as strong initiative • Confident communication in German, both spoken and written, good English skills are a plus Salary and benefits Around 3000 employees from RUAG and RUAG Real Estate make a significant contribution to the security of Switzerland every day.
