At the Maison de la Santé, just a few steps from the Bienne train station, we are creating a place where children and their families are at the center of our concerns and where they feel safe, understood, and well-supported.

With MEDIN Kids, a new outpatient center dedicated to child and adolescent health is being created at the Maison de la Santé in Bienne. It offers a wide range of specialized consultations. Different medical and therapeutic disciplines work in close collaboration and pool their skills to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for children and adolescents, under one roof. The offer includes, in particular, developmental pediatrics, psychology, pediatric physiotherapy, and pediatric occupational therapy.

Interprofessional collaboration allows for direct exchanges, the coordination of therapeutic concepts, and ensures comprehensive care, resolutely oriented towards the needs of children, adolescents, and their families.

As a member of our team, you will assume responsibility for your female and male patients and participate actively in the creation and development of this future-oriented pediatric outpatient center.

Your tasks - our position

• Assessment and care of children and adolescents presenting various psychological issues
• Psychological support for children, adolescents, and their families
• Assessment of complex issues related to development, emotional and psychosocial aspects
• Close and interdisciplinary collaboration with the various fields of pediatrics, particularly developmental pediatrics, as well as with psychologists and other therapeutic professionals
• Collaboration with schools, early intervention services, authorities, and other external partners
• Active participation in the development of an interdisciplinary consultation dedicated to early childhood regulation disorders, pain disorders, and adolescent medicine

Your skills - our expectations

• University degree in psychology as well as additional training or professional experience in the field of child and adolescent psychology
• Postgraduate training in psychotherapy in progress or completed, an asset
• Authorization to practice or requirements for its obtaining, depending on the function
• Strong interest in an interdisciplinary, global, and family-centered approach
• Excellent social skills and a benevolent and respectful attitude towards children, adolescents, families, and colleagues
• Autonomy, sense of responsibility, and a structured way of working
• Motivation to participate actively in the development of a new outpatient center for children
• You are comfortable in German and French and perfectly master one of these two languages, both orally and in writing
