Assistant Physician / Assistant Physician Child & Adolescent Psychiatry 80-100% In the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy (Clinic Director Dr. med. Bernardon), children and adolescents up to the age of 18 are treated. The clinic's integrated treatment offering includes an outpatient area with a central outpatient clinic as well as four outpatient clinics distributed throughout the canton, a consultation and liaison service and an inpatient area with an acute ward, two psychotherapy wards, a day clinic and a clinic school. In the teams, clinical professionals from the fields of medicine, psychology, nursing and social pedagogy work, and in the clinic school, teachers and special education teachers. The Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy is a teaching hospital of the University of Zurich and a certified Category A training facility. Profile You possess a Federal Medical Diploma or an equivalent medical degree recognized by MEBEKO Ideally, you have previous experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, psychiatry or pediatrics You possess good clinical competencies, relational skills, analytical thinking skills as well as good oral and written German skills You demonstrate resilience and initiative in clinical daily life and have good manners and humor Tasks You work in multiprofessional teams in the inpatient, semi-inpatient, outpatient or K&L area Under qualified guidance, you will learn to independently investigate and treat patients with all child and adolescent psychiatric clinical pictures You will learn child and adolescent psychiatric diagnostics and essential psychological testing procedures and, under supervisory guidance and medical responsibility, carry out psychoeducation, psychopharmacological adjustments, consultations and psychotherapies You make diagnoses and assessments according to the valid diagnostic scheme and, based on this, develop guideline-compliant measure planning You participate in emergency on-call services of the clinic You prepare the necessary treatment documentation and medical letters and fully bill the services provided Benefits Our employees are the heart of our company.
