Head of Contract Packaging (m/f)

Are you an entrepreneurially-minded leader with a strong awareness of quality and costs as well as several years of experience in production? Our client is a successful Swiss company that develops and produces innovative packaging and sterilization solutions for medical technology. We are looking for a committed "doer personality" who will operatively lead the Contract Packaging department, ensure the agreed quality and delivery targets, and continuously optimize internal processes. Region: Eastern Switzerland.

Your area of responsibility and tasks:

• Leadership of the Contract Packaging department and implementation of quality goals
• Ensuring the agreed delivery dates and quality standards
• Coordinating and optimizing internal processes to reduce lead times
• Contact person for customers, employees and suppliers
• Support of sales with post-calculation
• Personnel deployment planning as well as information to supervisors about utilization fluctuations
• Participation in Q-relevant questions and deviations (CAPA, FB) as well as with Q-documents, work instructions and training in the area of contract packaging
• Control of workstations regarding condition, function, ergonomics and safety as well as maintenance intervals and machine condition
• Compliance with safety, accident prevention and environmental protection regulations in the department
• Demand and promote technical and leadership competence in the team

Your profile:

• Technical basic training with corresponding further education
• Proven performance and leadership experience in a similar position
• Practical experience with recognized methods such as Lean Management, 5S and KVP
• Good PC skills, ideally experience with SAGE B7
• Entrepreneurial, resilient and communicative personality with very good German and good English skills
